MIX is open to anyone over the age of 18 who has, or has had the experience of mental illness.
MIX is a friendly service where people are valued for who they are. Our environment supports a culture which encourages participation, interaction and personal growth. This is a safe place where people are made to feel welcome and there are opportunities to make new friends.
When you are at MIX, we expect you to participate in our programmes. Outside of the morning and afternoon session times you are welcome to enjoy the tea and coffee and have a chat. People who require supervision or who need assistance to participate in activities will need to have a support person with them to attend.
We work in partnership with the mental health consumers who use the service and welcome your suggestions and feedback. Please feel free to talk to staff if you need support, have a concern or a complaint or a suggestion to make!
